Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort covers an area of 130,000 square meters, with 40 hot spring pools with different design and functions. The out-door hot springs have 6 featured themed spaces. The hot spring water of Slender West Lake comes from 2,000 meters below the surface, and the water temperature reaches 70 °C. It contains a variety of minerals, such as silicic acid, lithium and strontium.
For many years, the resort has had problems with scale in the hot spring water pipe. The pipe has to be cleaned several times a month: the workers use a high-pressure water gun to clean manually, or even cut the pipe and replace the clogged section. The Resort needed a solution that was convenient, reliable and efficient to solve their mineral scaling problems.
Hot spring water flows out of the pipe joint, it builds up stalactite-like scales over time.
The pipe insulation was removed, and Vulcan S50 was installed in the machine room where the hot spring water is taken
The Results:
The workload of pipe cleaning has been greatly reduced. Without Vulcan, we had to clean several times a month. After installing Vulcan for 2 months, it is almost unnecessary to clean the pipe.
The hot spring water pipeline is far away from the villa, so the water has to pumped. Vulcan S150 was installed on the delivery pipe.
