To solve the scaling problems in the cooling towers of the molding factory.
1. Even with a water softener, the outer walls of the cooling towers were still badly scaled reducing the heat exchange efficiency. 2. Summer was especially bad; when the cooling effect did not meet the standard requirement, the alarm would ring.
3. Every time when the alarm rang, workers needed to manually clean the scale with sandpaper.
In order to verify the Vulcan effect, the water softener was stopped and no other water treatment was used during the testing period.
