Yanchang Petroleum Group was founded in 1905 and is the fourth largest oil producer in China. This Chinese conglomerate is involved mainly in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of petroleum and natural gas, and in the production and sales of petrochemical products.
To reduce scaling and improve energy efficiency in their closed loop cooling tower they installed a Vulcan S100 mineral descaler to manage scale build-up. The pipe diameter is roughly 6 inches with a water flow of 400 GPM.
