Bank of Latvia uses descalers at 2 branches
After only 3 months, the descaling effect in the building was already apparent as bits of mineral scaling were being flushed out of faucets with the water flow.
Model: Vulcan 5000 and Vulcan S50
Location: Latvia
Installation Area: main water pipe
In June, the Vulcan S50 system was installed in the Bank of Latvia building (Riga branch). After only 3 months, the descaling effect in the building was already apparent as bits of mineral scaling were being flushed out of faucets with the water flow.
In October (the same year) a smaller Vulcan descaler was installed (5000 model) at the Jurmala branch. After about 4 months, it was found that the hot water pipes were intensely cleaning themselves from the scale and rust deposits. However, as the scale deposits were very persistent, the process of decalcification of the pipelines took another 24 months to remove all evidence of mineral scaling.
Since the installation of the system, no scale deposits have been found on the shower heads and taps.
These mineral descaler systems are doing their job! No more scale or rust deposits have formed. When installing the equipment on old water supply systems, it is advisable to check the connection points of the pipes more often, because leaks could occur at the connections due to years of corrosion damage.
